Face Commissions
Want a custom design? Commissions are open, make your request now! We offer a variety of pre-designed facial expressions, but if none match your character, you can request a custom face commission.
What is the process when ordering a face commission?
1. ¡Commissions open! Currently, we only make face designs for embroidery machines.
2. Price quote: Once the commissions are open, you must fill in and send the quote form. Between 24 and 48 hours you will receive an email from us with the price of your plush.
3. Slot reservation: If you are okay with the price, then you must answer our email to get the slot reservation.
4. Payment: We will create a custom product in our store for your commission.
6. The creation process begins!
7. Shipping: Once finished, you will receive an email with a link to download your digital file.
Elaboration time
The preparation time is usually two weeks, but it may vary depending on our workload. Each client will receive an estimate along with the price.
What face styles do you accept?
We accept face designs in anime, video game, cartoon, and OC styles, but we do not create realistic faces, real people, or non-face designs.
Do you accept all commission requests?
If we have a high workload, we will reject new requests and select commissions based on our preferences.
Our designs
The commission will be created in our own style. We will do our best to match your reference images as closely as possible. Please see our prior work for examples of our style before commissioning us.
Can you create complex designs?
If the design is too complex, we may reject the request.
What includes?
Digital embroidery file to sew the eyes with an embroidery machine. It includes a design worksheet (Design size, bobbin length, color sequence, hooping sequence, thread charts, etc).
What are your exchanges, returns and refunds policy?
The purchase of a customized product is considered an outright purchase. The order cannot be canceled, exchanged or refunded under any circumstances. We remind our customers that they must be totally sure of their purchase.
We reserve the right to cancel or deny your customized product for any reason. A full refund will be issued in this circumstance.
Licensing
The sale of the PDF, pattern or embroidery file is NOT allowed. You can only sell the finished product.
When you use our patterns for your products, you MUST credit our shop: www.monpattern.com.
ALLOWED:
⋆ Make the plush for personal use.
⋆ Sell the finished product in your online store.
⋆ Sell the finished embroidery in one of your products.
⋆ Use our patterns for your creations.
NOT ALLOWED:
⋆ DO NOT sell the pattern, PDF or our images as your own. In terms of copyright, everything in the pattern instructions belongs to MonPattern.
⋆ DO NOT sell our embroidery files as your own.
⋆ DO NOT sell the product or pattern as mass production.
⋆ DO NOT sell modified versions of our patterns or PDF, since that would qualify as derivate work.
Can you make changes to my patterns?
You can make changes to the original design when sewing your own version of the pattern. However, you must mention that it is a modification of a MonPattern product, since that would qualify as derivative work. Even so, modified versions of our PDF instructions and patterns are not allowed for sale despite being derivative works.

TERMS OF SERVICE
By commissioning me (MonPattern), you (the client) agree to my Terms of Service (TOS).
Please note the terms on this page are applicable to private purchases and commissions only.
MonPattern Terms:
- The commission will be created in my own style. I will do my best to match your reference images as closely as possible. Please see my prior work for examples to see my own style before you commission me.
- When I give you a price quote, this estimate is non-negotiable and valid for the next 3 months.
- I reserve the right to post images and WIP of your commission on my own websites, social media, and any possible advertisements for my artwork.
- I do not accept (free) changes to the project once I start working on it. Please be as detailed as possible when requesting your commission.
- We reserve the right to refuse any commission that we do not feel comfortable with. This may include technical issues with the subject or the content of the commission itself.
- Any patterns and embroidery files created will remain the property of MonPattern. The sale of the PDF, pattern or embroidery file is NOT allowed. You can only sell the finished product.
- I reserve the right to sell the PDF, sewing pattern and embroidery file.
- We reserve the right to manage any incident or respond to messages and not attend to the customer in case of not addressing us as cordially as possible, that is, messages that contain any profanity, foul language, insults, threats and derogatory comments that do not favor the customer-store relationship.
Returns, refunds and cancellations:
- The purchase of a customized product is considered an outright purchase. The order cannot be canceled, exchanged or refunded under any circumstances. We remind our customers that they must be totally sure of their purchase.
- The preparation time varies depending on my workload. Each client will receive an estimate along with the price. The production time is an estimate and will never be a motive for a refund.
- I (MonPattern) reserve the right to cancel or deny your commission for any reason. A full refund will be issued in this circumstance
Shipping:
- The order is delivered digitally.
- Full payment is required before the commission begins.
